I wouldn't choose to be reborn as a human....no way, far too much like hard work. I would be reborn as a well looked after cat so I could lie about all day. I'm knackered being human!

Definitely not a human, I agree, but having mused this far too often I worry an animal wouldn’t appreciate the pleasure and beauty in the world? So maybe a human if I could specify a wealthy, healthy, happy one with a no responsibility and lots of exciting adventures? Or maybe my cat.

I’d come back as myself and re-live my life the ‘correct way’ that I wasn’t able to before. But with a year like this one I’m more inclined to come back as a horse or dolphin, if at all!

Maybe as a dog, provided I was walked several times a day. Preferably owned by someone living alone.

I would like to be a humpback whale. Happy family pods, few predators (once grown) and everyone would be happy to see me.

Only downside is humans filling the ocean with plastic I suppose...

My old girl is 16, comes & goes as she pleases. Sleeps on my bed (on my cashmere blanket). Eats fresh chicken & tinned tuna if she fancies them. Likes a saucer of cream and the occasional mouse 😬. She is stroked and loved, groomed & pampered. She will stretch out in the sunshine or dig up worms in the flowerbeds, does the Mumsnet horror thing of sitting on all the work surfaces whenever she pleases. If she needs a wee & can't be bothered to go out in the rain, the sofa has been known to be a useful litter tray, ignoring the 2 trays that are cleaned every day for her needs.
She is lazy, cunning and does whatever she wants, I am coming back as a pampered cat.

One go-around of this place is more than enough. Quite looking forward to the peace of eternal nothingness.

Definitely not coming back ever again if I have any choice about it. If I have to, and I can't come back as a pampered cat, I want to be mega rich with a well adjusted loving family and loads of good friends.

Dont think id opt to come back but if forced id be a goose - plentiful food, can walk, swim and fly well and permanently wrapped in a duvet. One day shot out of the sky; done!

Might be nice to be a female kangaroo. Always having a joey in and out of your pouch sounds cosy and living in a family group with other kangaroos and lots of joeys. Not many predators, so not a scary life and munching on plants in beautiful nature.

I’d love to be able to fly and be wild and free, so an eagle. Or maybe even a seagull so I could still eat chips.

Pampered cat is my first choice. Second choice is come back as a woman with smaller tits. Or maybe a man, although I think I prefer being a woman. But I enjoy life, so would definitely give it another whirl.
