Forgot parking ticket will I be fined?

Parked in a council car park. Realised an hour later and paid for it but I guess I will still get a ticket? Has anyone done that and not had a ticket?

Wouldn't there have been a ticket on your car if they'd seen you?

If they had issues you with a ticket, there should have been one on your car.

You might be if it was a camera operated one - but I think if it is council and not a private company you would have had a ticket on the car (looking at you excel parking bastards )

I'm thinking it was a pay by phone car park. I once forgot for more than an hour but didn't get a ticket. Just depends if the parking attendant comes round whilst your 'unpaid'
