to reschedule my smear test?

Smear test today at 12.45.

I've been ill since Sunday with a horrific cold, cough, temp ( which has now gone ). Negative covid test which came back yesterday morning but the cough is constant ( tickly style, even breathing through my mouth sets it off ).

WIBU to rearrange my smear test for another time?

I would reschedule. Even though it’s not Covid I’m sure no nurse wants a bug that involves coughing right now and at my surgery you wouldn’t be allowed in with a cough.

If your covid free get the test cervical cancer will not wait for your cold to go away. I put mine off bonce and kept meaning to rebook. Thing is I waited a while and it was abnormal. Much longer and it would have been cancer as I was cin level 3 cgin. Honestly why put off until tomorrow something that may save your life today? Tomorrow is never a guarantee and what if they stop testing due to covid with the new restrictions getting tighter.

Fortnite I have no issue going to the test at all, they dont bother me in the slightest and I'm sorry you had to go through all of that.

I rang the GP and they asked me to rebook on account for having a continuous cough irrespective of the negative result but I was able to rebook for next week on the spot.
