We both work together and can't social distance in work. We both get tested every 4-5 days because of our job.

Legally yes... make up your own mind! Seriously

WishMyNameWasWittyNotShitty · 23/09/2020 06:22

If you do not live together and haven't formed a support bubble, then yes, you should socially distance outside work.....work will have been assessed in relation to covid and the risks, outside there the rules that we all have apply to you too.

Pipandmum · 23/09/2020 06:29

Use common sense. If you are not distancing at work then what's the point? I work with a couple of people in my home. By the nature of the work we can not distance ourselves. It would be unreasonable to then meet up outside of that situation and suddenly keep 2m away. However if in a car with them we all wear masks with windows open as the space is more confined.
If I met with six people we are supposed to distance - in reality this doesn't happen. It would have to be an awfully big table for us all to sit 2m away from each other. My take on this is to try and only meet outside, or meet just a couple of people making at least some distance possible.

BillywilliamV · 23/09/2020 06:31

Are you going to change your behaviour based on what is posted OP?
Legally, you should SD outside work but I certainly wouldn’t bother in this scenario.

^^This. Form a social bubble.

FatGirlShrinking · 23/09/2020 07:13

According to the rules YES you need to socially distanced if meeting socially outside work, and you should be SD where possible at work too.

It's evident though that you have no intention of following the rules so why bother asking. This is what, your 3rd or 4th thread asking this exact same question?

emilyfrost · 23/09/2020 07:19

YABU. Of course you should be socially distancing from her.

helpfulperson · 23/09/2020 07:39

If she has covid the less time you spend close to her the better. So even if you spend six hours a day at less than 2 m then adding another 2 hrs into that socially increases the chances of the virus being passes on.

Redcups64 · 23/09/2020 08:19

Yes, obviously. Why does working with her have any difference? Outside of work socially distance because YOU CAN, at work you can’t- not hard to figure out is it

FunTimes2020 · 23/09/2020 08:28

If you are unable to remain 2 metres apart at work then you should be wearing masks outside of work you should follow the rules

knittingaddict · 23/09/2020 09:01

Have you just strung a couple of CV buzzwords together and made it into something that sounded good in your head.

There's no such thing.
