To think that the Rainbows uniform must surely be designed by Kate Moss to be so stupidly expensive!

Just went to a shop to pick up Rainbows uniform for dd1 who has just started.
T-shirt - £10
Trousers - £12
Hoody - £16

Bloody hell! They're just polyester tat! Why so much? I didn't have enough for the hoody - just looked on ebay and still expensive to get a worn, stained, threadbare version. Why so much?

All they do is run in a circle screaming until they're are hysterical. They do at our one anyway.

Does anyone know where you can get the hoody cheaper?

Well it's all changed since my day!! My dd wore just a bright coloured tabard (apron thingy) over normal clothes.

do they not have second hand stuff? We do at our Brownies - check with the leader.

Well the last rainbows group was years ago - the leader ran off with the cash so not been a group since the new uniform came out.
