I would like them for 3 bedrooms (each between 2m and 3m).AIBU to think I could get them done reasonably decent quality for circa £6k?

Anyone had them done recently with a company they are happy with?

Can you do it yourself? Most diy places sell the kits and it’s easy to do?

I got a quote for some fitted wardrobes. Quote was £9k. I instead bought IKEA pax wardrobes and a local chap to properly build and fit them. Approx £400 all in.

So, no, not done it myself but a lot of research showed me if I planned it properly it could be done at a fraction of the cost.

The fitted wardrobe company I got a quote from were only going to use ready made standard carcasses anyway so no major difference in quality.

If I had loads of money id get a carpenter.

But don't rule out playing with the various planners on the IKEA website - they have various styles and you can pimp them up with better handles, fittings etc
