Whilst father's aren't allowed into scan rooms, should expectant mothers be allowed to video their scan on their phones?

YABU - no.

YANBU - yes.

If no, why not?

Just pay for a private scan and stop trying to get midwives put in awkward situations to go against policy.

Why would this be necessary?

I can’t think of any medical need why the father would need to see a video of the scan. Unless someone is disputing that there is a medical issue in which case a second doctor opinion would be necessary rather than a partner

🙄 no because its not a spectator sport, it's not for the father, it's for the wellbeing of a mother and baby and a simple ultrasound print out should suffice. Frankly this is one occasion where "man up" is applicable.
