I have tried to attach a photo,
My daughters school ( she is extremely vulnerable ) have 3 gates, 2 small single gates and 1 double gate they all lead out the same direction.
2 classes come out at gate 1, 4 classes out of double middle gate and nurses out of the other single gate !
They have used orange barriers to prevent parents going in to middle of playground however the middle gate is boarded like a small semi circle with is probably about 4 meters in size so there is a huge amount of parents with other siblings to squished in to this semi circle and then 4 classes of children being passed through it.

Sorry for the toddler like drawing haha
Yellow - playground and schools
Red lines - gates
Purple the barriers
So 4 classes worth of parents are in the purple square part.

Surely the playground is a bigger area to social distance ?

Surely the playground is a bigger area to social distance ?

But then you would have parents coming in and children trying to get out the gates? Keeping parents off the school premises makes the most sense.

The problem is this - is a huge amount of parents with other siblings to squished in to this semi circle
Nobody should be squished up. Everyone should stand in single file, in order of arrival, and the children walk along to their collectors. A child over the age of 4 is well able to manage that.

I'm guessing this is sn school as you mentioned nurses. They need to stagger collection times and ensure parents can distance from what you describe
