So my ex moved out of my place at the beginning of this month. I made a claim for UC last month as I knew I wouldn't be able to afford the rent alone once he'd leave. I'm on Statutory Maternity Pay at the moment. Thankfully UC are going to help me (statement came through today). Council tax have emailed me asking for the date he moved out, his forwarding address and proof of UC so I can get council tax support. From what he's told me, he's staying between his aunts house and a friends for a while til he sorts himself a place. Do I get those two addresses off him to foreword or do I state that he has no set address at the moment? Really need advice on this as I don't want anything to affect my claim 🙏

Give them both addresses, and explain that he's staying some nights at one and some at the other.

The council only want to check that he hasn't moved into somewhere where he's liable for council tax, and send him a bill if he has.
