AIBU to sink to their level? Noisy neighbours

I seem to have very bad luck with my neighbours. They are all incredibly noisy in one way or another. There's blaring music, screaming children, arguments which seem to go on all day, the neighbour on my immediate left has the TV on all day and yells at it. It's stressful and overwhelming. As you can imagine, it's been worse in lockdown because I don't leave the house unless it's for the gym or an errand.

So I recently bought a Bluetooth speaker with 360 sound and I've been playing my own music inside the house to drown out the carnage and it's been rather lovely. It's portable so I carry it around with me to the bedroom, office, kitchen etc.

However - DP thinks I'm contributing to the problem Hmm easy for him to say being out of the house all day at work though...

I think you can expect noise to get less in Winter with windows closed etc

Personally, I’m thinking about a blue tooth headset so I can walk around and listen to music ... perhaps DP cockfighting get your one for Xmas?

Cockfighting! Shock

I do have headphones but the trouble with them is I can't hear the door, my ears get squashed between my glasses and the headset, plus everything gets very warm and sweaty...
