How long did you wait for results of Covid test?

Just that really. How long did you have to wait for the results if you have tested in the last week or so?

crunchy that's rough! I know someone who was snuggling to get a test for their child so went and got a private test done but that's not affordable for most people as a one off let alone over and over
I have heard (anecdotally) that it needs to be the NHS test. No idea why and it seems that lots of schools don't even ask to see the negative test result.

Test arrived and 119 have managed to organise a courier. The woman I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable and I'm very impressed.

Makes up for the shit show to get the test.

Just got the negative result, yay only too a week from symptoms to results 🙄 good thing I'm not working atm and DP was in holiday but he was only in holiday to help settle DD into nursery

About 68 hours from it being collected from the priority post box to being text the result this morning.

Getting a test booked took 2 days and the results took 26 hours. Took the test at 6pm on Thurs and received the bad news at 8pm Friday.

Requested test today at 2.05pm. Tested and all by 3pm.waiting now on results. My cousins came back in 20 hours. Northern Ireland

Took an hour of non stop clicking and refreshing to get a drive through test for 4 hrs later, 45 mins drive away. Test results came back 25 hrs after that. This was in Bedfordshire.
I was lucky.

Test at 6pm. 1 set of results at 11.45 pm the following night - so 30 hours. The other set at 6am the following morning so 36 hours.
