trying to be positive and prepare myself mentally. The things that massively helped me were having dried yeast in, activities for the kids to do that were new and enough gin. What would you do to prep, what were your best wins and what did guy learn!

Card games. Board games. Netflix/amazon prime subscription.

Single Mum of teens and i genuinely loved lockdown.( Unlike 99%of the population my mental health was better not worse)

If i stop using fybogel, I use less loo roll.
I can make a meal out of what's available rather than what I would normally buy.
I'm getting the boiler serviced this month instead of waiting until November.
Christmas presents will be chosen by suitability and weight this year, in case they have to be posted to further away family members.

What would you do to prep

Declutter and organise the house, so much nicer spending extra time at home in a tidy environment.

Buy stuff to make your home extra cosy this year, nice lounge wear and pyjamas, throws, fairy lights (for inside and outside). I might put the Christmas tree up a bit early this year.

Get winter coats, scarves, hats, gloves, walking boots ready for winter walks.

what were your best wins

I bought an exercise bike and yoga mat (when I finally found ones in stock!) and have set up a little workout corner in the spare room, I love using it first thing in the morning, much less faff-y than the gym. We moved just before lockdown and have discovered lots of nice local walks we didn't know about before. I have started getting back into reading and discovered audio books.

and what did guy learn!

How to cut my own hair, and my boyfriends. How to sew a face mask from an old t-shirt. A tiny bit of Spanish.

Good colour pencils and a colouring book. It really surprised me how engrossing it is.

Don't try and learn Gaelic - it's actually totally impossible.

Oh thank you these are all good ones’ I’ve got lots of house plants now and I love them so I will be propagating them too
