To ask you to help me work out if this is a real song?

My gran used to sing me a song when I was little. I want to sing it to my Dd, however I can only remember some of the words. Internet searches have revealed nothing, which leads me to believe my gran made it up and I will never find it.
I'm not sure she did though because it was a really good song lol.

So here's what I can remember. (It's a Scottish song so sing in a Scottish accent lol).

"I'm goin away on a train, your no comin with me. I've got a lad of ma ain, an his name in bonny Jimmy. He wears a tartan kilt, boots the best of leather...." Can't remember the rest. If anyone knows it or could find it I would be forever grateful.
