Trigger warning about tonight's episode of Eastenders. No spoilers.

I know we have the Telly Addicts board for discussing soap operas but not everyone looks there and tonight's EE could be horribly upsetting for some women.

Without giving it away, the episode tonight is the culmination of a DV storyline and it's said to be particularly traumatic. So even if you're not a fan of EE anyhow, you might want to avoid channel hopping (or being in the room with channel hoppers) between 20:30 and 21:00 tonight.

Just when we thought it was safe to go back in the water after the horrifically twisted gaslighting that extended to physical violence in Corrie, so the reality of what everyone else views as Chantelle’s gilded life is about to explode on our screens...
(Do I get an “Excessively Lengthy Sentence Award?” LOL!)
There’s been some great scripting in soaps of some very pertinent issues over recent years.
Also currently the horror of Leanne and Steve’s little boy as she refuses to “Give up” on him must surely be triggering too.
If such storylines are approached realistically and/or well, then they affect those who have thankfully never been touched by whatever tragedy or horror.
Drama indeed.
