Mrs Swire, confidante and friend of top Tories over many years, has kept a diary which has now been published, serialised in the Times. I am obliged to Mrs Swire for making her interesting observations public especially as she has provoked Sarah Vine, otherwise known as Mrs Michael Gove, into lecturing her on loyalty and betrayal in her nasty newspaper column. Pots, kettles and a hide of iron. Its the funniest thing I've seen in years. Interesting observations from Sasha Swire on Cameron, Osborne, Bozo and the usual suspects. And yes, they really are exactly how you expect them to be. Sadly.

I'm interested in reading this!

I'm even considering paying to read the Times serialisation but can't yet overcome my Murdoch antipathy. The Mail has had some cannibalised snippets over the past week though.

I’m reading it. It’s slow going because I’m enjoying every word! Nothing in it surprises me, but it’s a good laugh.

It is an enjoyable read - quite fascinating really.

I'd like to get an Audible copy and broadcast it via a loudspeaker van. It's very, very funny. "He'd probably do the same if a sheep walked into the room".
