Once you start taking it? I’m post partum and haven’t had any periods yet. Will it become effective after a week or more? I forgot to ask my doctor and can’t find anything online. Thanks

If its the combined pill its 7 days of pill taking
If its the mini pill its 2 days of pill taking

Lockheart · 17/09/2020 17:22

Surely it says in the leaflet that came with it.

Check the leaflet in the box

What did you Google? It took me less than 20 seconds to find the answer to this and it's on the leaflet that comes with the tablets.

This. How many days ago did you have your baby?

It's in the leaflet in each pack, or Google the brand name of your pill plus 'pack insert information' and all the info is there.

medicines.org.uk has them all
