How every other person at work has covid now and needs 2 weeks off work?
It's not like we can afford to have loads of people off all the time. We work in the NHS and its hellish busy so the rest of us are run ragged.
Not one of them tested positive but they all had a good few days holiday.
Now they have twigged they will get sent for a test so they are saying my wife/husband/hamster has covid because they know they wont be sent for a test.
I'm exhausted and I'm disabled as well and I could bloody cry. 4 of tomorrow's staff have cried covid wolf and I'm running the place on my own tomorrow and just cant cope. I wish people would be more honest.
If you are having mental health problems and or are just gone tired please just admit it. Stop going off every five minutes and expecting others to pick up your slack. I could weep this week.

It sounds like you’re having a tough time but you cannot possibly prove people are crying wolf. If you or someone you lived with had symptoms would you not isolate? You’d be ignoring government guidance and potentially putting people you work with at risk.

By all means have a rant and ask for sympathy or support but your tone is likely to piss people off. Missing work, kids missing school, worrying about finances and job security aren’t funny and a lot of people are doing what they’ve been told at great cost to themselves and their families.

Obviously can't comment on your workplace but half of dc1's class are out at the moment...just takes one person in their family to have a cough/temp and they all have to isolate.

Amd there are a lot of coughs and colds around at the moment.
