To ask for other people's experience of Amazon recruitment process

Yes, I'm posting on here for traffic - sorry I have no one in real life who might know the answer! My brother was made redundant over lockdown and applied for a temporary job sorting parcels at our local Amazon warehouse last week. It's via their agency. He went to a registration event last week at the Amazon warehouse, signed contracts etc, was told he has the job. The next step was to wait for an email from the agency with a link to some kind of online induction course and a start date. The agency representative told him this email may not arrive until the end of last week, or possibly Monday of this week. He still hasn't had it and has chased his contact at the agency a couple of times who has assured him there isn't a problem, but that they are still waiting for Amazon to give them induction dates. He's getting a bit anxious now - does anyone have any experience of their recruitment process? Is this normal? Thanks.

Hi OP sorry I can’t help with any experience, but your post looked lonely!

There are several forums where people post about their drop hunting experience with different companies. You (or your DB) could try looking:
on Indeed
Or Glassdoor
For instance. Or just look on google for amazon interview process.

Hopefully you’ll get someone with experience along in a few hours.

Best of luck to your DB.

I think it can take a while, I wouldn't worry they are always desperate for staff
