Waffles more annoying than Topsy and Tim

So they've just lost the dog in the terminal van, Dad has a bag of peas tired to his foot because a piece of wood fell on it and he's hobbling like it's about to fall off.

Noone had taken the dog on daytime telly, no one has reported the dog so he can be dissected.
I actually think they're annoying than the Topsy Tim family where all the 4 year olds look like 6 year olds and Mom's drugs work too well

YANBU. I hate this show. My DH has alternative lyrics to the theme tune Grin

Choice4567 · 16/09/2020 12:29

Waffle is awful. Why do they all fall over all the time?

SleepingStandingUp · 16/09/2020 12:32

Why is Waffle and Katie Morag on at this time of day? Surely all the kids are in nursery or school by now. We need Love Monster and Too Tak!!!!

I feel sorry for Waffle's neighbour. I would hate living next door to them.

sapnupuas · 16/09/2020 12:36

Fucking hate Waffle.

MostlyAmbridgeandcoffee · 16/09/2020 12:37

Ha my toddler loves waffle. It’s not the worst though... moon and me anyone ?!

LoseLooseLucy · 16/09/2020 12:38

He doesn’t annoy me as much as Bing the Bastard.

Pogmella · 16/09/2020 12:38

Waffle should be removed under the dangerous dogs act, he’s rarely under control

Coriandersucks · 16/09/2020 12:38

Controversial op, but you’re probably right. It’s waffles neighbour I feel sorry for - that family always break into her house and ruin it. They should be locked up.

SleepingStandingUp · 16/09/2020 12:38

And now there's a new neighbor with a girl dog who's also off a leaf so I fear hybrid waffle puppies

Are they still replaying the old episodes? I haven't watched waffle in 3 years and i hated it back then

Janaih · 16/09/2020 12:40

Mrs Hobbs should get an asbo served on that bloody family.

Sunnydaysstillhere · 16/09/2020 12:40

My ds is 6 today (the youngest) he no longer watches small people TV. Bliss!!
Dd is 31.
That's a lot of shite over the years.
Teletubbies maybe the worst ever.
Or maybe Fireman Sam??

Pearsapiece · 16/09/2020 12:41

I can't fathom waffle out. Daughter looks about 8 but has just had her 5th birthday. Something about a birth dad keeps popping up but can't fathom if it's mum's ex partner or a sperm donor. Does he pay maintenance? Because so far it seems she's had a card and a photo from him?!
Daughter and son look nothing like each other so are they adopted? Just have different dads?
And everyone's out at work and school all day so what was the plan is waffle wasn't a pain in the arse following them everywhere 'wonder dog'? Just leave him at home alone with the neighbour who can't decide if she loves or hates him?! So many questions

Janaih · 16/09/2020 12:41

I love topsy and tim though. It reminds me of the gentle childrens programs of yesteryear. They are so frantic these days

SleepingStandingUp · 16/09/2020 12:41

Yeah he's looking medium sized, Mrs Hobbs has her house for sale

I assume they are foster parents but how they managed to swing that with social services is anyones guess

boymum9 · 16/09/2020 12:43

I just spent a 40 minute walk to and from Sainsbury's with my 3 year year old singing "wwaaaffffllleeeee doggYYYYYY", it wasn't until he had a break for some Smarties that I realised I was singing it down the cereal aisle

Rustyspanners · 16/09/2020 12:44

Ohh I love Waffle and Topsy and Tim! It's Bing and Duggee I hate.

Blended family, Dad and son, daughter and Mom. In the first episode they have just got married and moved on together if I remember correctly

I think the fact that Waffle himself is quite cute makes it even more noticable how annoying all the humans in it are. I can see the dog who plays Waffle thinking, but why are you all hamming it up so much?

confusedandeatingcheese · 16/09/2020 12:46

Nah in the first episode they explain that it's mums second relationship and probably the dads too?

Pearsapiece · 16/09/2020 12:46

Thanks for the clarity @SleepingStandingUp I'm pleased to say it's one of the few cbeebies programs I haven't seen all the episodes of!

mrspoisson · 16/09/2020 12:46

Have you seen Bing OP?

Pinkflipflop85 · 16/09/2020 12:48

I can't stand molly and mack with the stupid 'I have an idea' song and whatever the other song is...

I will not hear a bad word said about duggee. That show is wonderful.
