BTECS- anyone else still waiting

DC1 is still waiting on a BTEC result-

I think this has been forgotten about- no news and no updates from Pearson.

I can’t believe they can just leave them hanging for weeks on end with no result in sight!

Am I being unfair in expecting them to deliver a result in under a month from the date we should have had them?

What subject is it?
Our school handed out the BTEC results 8 days after results day

I work in a large FE college and all our BTEC results have been issued most were issues in August

It’s HSC. The school haven’t got them- Pearson say they have. It’s absolutely unbelievable.

It's not normal for Pearson to have all the folders.

Normally an external verifier will be given a selection of folders at Pass, Merit and Distinction and will assess those.

Only if there is a problem are more folders assessed.

Now I know this year has not been normal but I can't think that they will have assessed all folders for everyone.

Is your child over 18? If so they can approach Pearson.

BUT approach the school first.

Thanks all- child is under 18. School have confirmed that they don’t have the results. Pearson insist they have released them. I have no reason to believe the school aren’t telling me the truth.

The school should be sorting this urgently with Pearson - I would complain to the school and/or governors. Results are usually sent electronically through to the schools/colleges. If we didn't receive expected results we would be chasing on a daily basis
