I’ve got a lovely friend who is a bit of a worrier when it comes to “chemicals”. The latest thing she sent me was an article where a range of supposedly “clean” wines had been tested, and were found to contain tiny traces of various pesticides, including glyphosate.
WIBU to point out to her that All wines contain as much as 12-14% per bottle of a highly carcinogenic substance, one that’s rated higher then glyphosate on the IARC “likely to cause cancer” risk assessments? And that she’s been happily glugging large amounts of this evil toxin - which is, of course, alcohol - for many years now?
