To not look after her child

Ladymuckduck · 15/09/2020 22:46

My friends daughter (4) went to hospital saturday and they suspected covid. She told me they, and her older daughter, all need to be tested. I've not spoken to her since Saturday night, but she messaged me this evening and I expect she will ask me to watch her 4 year old tomorrow as she had asked me a few weeks ago.
I really don't feel comfortable in doing so any more, and i have my own kids to think about as well.
Asking for opinions, I'm not just being paranoid am I?

No, if she has covid symptoms I would say no unless you and your kids are happy to isolate for 14 days x

ZarasHouse · 15/09/2020 22:48

Sorry that was meant to be a ! Not a x

No I would say no. I would text her now as well otherwise I gather she’s the those who might just show up.

Shizzlestix · 15/09/2020 22:50

Obviously you can’t.

TW2013 · 15/09/2020 22:51

Unless Covid has been ruled out they should all be in their own home self isolating so presumably wouldn't need childcare for tomorrow unless it was something online. If you can't go there and she can't leave her home I would assume that the arrangement is cancelled.

RB68 · 15/09/2020 23:06

Ladymuckduck · 15/09/2020 23:27
