My niece is turning 16 and has had a difficult time recently so I want to buy her a gift she will love. I know she likes Tiffany but stuck between these two necklaces. If people could vote Yabu for the circle and Yanbu for the hearts that would be great. Thank you

Of the two, I think I prefer the circle. They’re both v Tiffany though. I wonder if there’s anything a bit more subtle that she’s less likely to grow out of. Very kind gift.

Something like this? Classic Tiffany but not quite so in your face.

Someaddedsugar · 14/09/2020 20:54

The heart necklace is a classic that will last - is there an option to have just the silver heart so it's more versatile for wearing with a range of clothes?

RunningFromInsanity · 14/09/2020 20:55

The circle. It’s nice and classy and goes with any outfit.

Heart necklaces are a bit 90s teen, unless they are bought by a partner.

BikeRunSki · 14/09/2020 20:58

I was going to say the the open heart is a Tiffany clasic. The others you’ve posted are a bit bling. She’ll never grow out of the heart.

AldiAisleofCrap · 14/09/2020 20:59

@TestingTestingWonTooFree I prefer the more classic style but at 15/16 I think she wants her friends to know it’s a Tiffany necklace.
@Someaddedsugar yes you can get the heart on it’s own , that’s a good idea if I go for the heart.
@RunningFromInsanity I prefer the circle if I was wearing it, thanks.

I’ve just asked my 18 year old which she prefers. She said the circle.

GlamGiraffe · 14/09/2020 21:00

I like the necklace Testing linked to. Out of the two you posted the circle has more longevity but I'm jot sure either scream 16 year old particularlyn unless shes one of the dedicated followers of Tiffany of which there are a few at that age, although they seem to be far fewer in number now than they were 15 or 20 years ago.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 14/09/2020 21:04

I voted hearts, but appear to be in the minority.

ScrummyDiva2 · 14/09/2020 21:05

My 16 year old said the circle, if that's of any help!

polkadotpjs · 14/09/2020 21:10

Circle

AldiAisleofCrap · 14/09/2020 21:15

Yes the one testing linked too is lovely but it’s out of my budget unfortunately.
Thanks for the teenage input that’s really helpful.

The circle.

Fishfingersandwichplease · 14/09/2020 21:19

I have got the circle one - love it

kelly14 · 14/09/2020 21:19

Circle

Mama1980 · 14/09/2020 21:19

My dd says circle

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 14/09/2020 21:19

Prefer the circle. I can't stand heart jewellery though. I feel its too little girl dress up jewellery.

SheSaidNoFuckThat · 14/09/2020 21:20

Circle is much nicer, the blue heart seems a bit naff and try hard (also seen many places selling fakes like this)

sapnupuas · 14/09/2020 21:20

I have the heart one. I love it.

I also love the circle one, though

Spied · 14/09/2020 21:22

Hearts.
I don't like the circle. It looks like it says Taco to my eyes. Sorry.
I think a 16yo fan of Tiffany's will really cover the heart. I like the coloured heart too. Screams Tiffany -which am sure is what she wants.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 14/09/2020 22:24

The open heart is not necessarily £300+. There’s a smaller one available for £145 I think. I can see that a teen might want it to be obviously Tiffany.

AldiAisleofCrap · 14/09/2020 22:28

Thanks @TestingTestingWonTooFree I didn’t realise there was a smaller version.
