I took my car for its MOT today and before I did I dutifully emptied the boot..

32 reusable bags.

This is too many isn't it. I am going to end up on channel 5 aren't I...
How many is a normal amount?

I reckon I’ve got a similar number! They seem to multiply!

I have a bag in the cupboard under the stairs that's filled to the brim with reusable bags, and each week I think "I'll pop those in my car" and each week leave them under the stairs and buy new bags.

It's a mandatory part of being an adult; you're not allowed to be one til you have the bag of bags.

Last week I got I bag with a single block of butter , 1 bag with a large tub of yogurt and one bag with a pack of 6 tomatoes and a bunch of spring onions

Suddenly my bag of a dozen bags doesn't seem so bad (if I forget for a moment that I probably have half a dozen of such bags, dutifully deep-packed after each house move, and still in storage in some unpacked cardboard box up in the loft)

Still. Looks quite sane compared to the content if my hard drive(s)!

Yeah that is just ridiculous!! 1 bag for each thing!!

What sort are you talking about... The massive ones you pay are £1 for, or the ones that cost about 20p?

I'm talking your £1 bags. I also have 4 freezer bags with the foil on the inside for use when it's hot.

Holy crap I have seasonal shopping bags
