Here is mine.... its not overly scary now and i do think maybe my head was away with it but regardless I will share...

When my son was between 1/2 years old we lived in a 3 story house, very narrow, no hallway downstairs, just stairs as you walked through the front door.
I had noticed my son staring at the top of the stairs quite often, almost just freezing on the spot and looking into thin air.
At the time, i didnt think a lot of it but it started to become more and more frequent and he would even sometimes take himself from what he was doing, walk to the bottom of the stairs and just stare.
Eventually, the staring turned into full blown hysterical crying, frightened of whatever it was he could see. It got so bad I would sometimes have to carry him up the stairs screaming in fear.
I asked him numerous times what it was he was looking at?
His reply, every time, was the "yucky man".
Now, obviously this began to creep me out, his constant staring, and frightened crying was really just not normal and I started to feel some sort of presence myself and strange things began to happen.

On one occasion i was bringing my son in one arm and a bag of groceries in other hand into house, i had left the boot open to go back out because i had done the shopping. When i was walking back out the front door was shut, locked and chain in place. I DID not do this. I couldnt of done it, i had my hands full.

Other times i would turn the heating off, ensure it was off and find out a while later that it was back on again, the flip had been switched.... it couldnt of been my partner as always happened when he was working. My son couldnt of reached it either.

My partner was playing football on a friday evening, i had put my son to bed and sat down on the sofa, the living room door was wipe open (stairs right outside door) and i remember hearing something but i didnt really know what. It startled me and suddenly i just froze and felt this overwhelming feeling of being watched. I couldnt move from the spot, i was terrified.

One particular evening, my son was crying in the middle of the night. I went in to him and he was standing in his cot crying very hard. The door was wipe open behind me and he started pointing and repeatedly saying yucky man! Yucky man!

I mentioned this to my parents. My mum being good living, said a bit of a prayer in his room... im not a believer in any of that but i was so scared i figured why not?
We went round to their house that day, i was telling my dad all about what was happening and he took my son to one side for a chat. He told him that he would buy the yucky man from him for £5 and he would keep the yucky man at their house for a while and then send him on his way. My son agreed.

How it worked i do not know. But the yucky man was never seen at our house again, nor did any inexplicable things happen.....

Anyone else had creepy, weird things happen to them?

When ds was around a year and a half (so didn't talk particularly well) he was playing in my bedroom and I was in doing dishes (bungalow), we were in alone. All of a sudden ds came Boulting through to the kitchen howling crying, saying the lady and pointing to my room. I picked him up and took him through so he could show me but he wouldn't look anywhere near the far away corner he was really sobbing and gripping on to me. I eventually talked him round and made a bit of a joke of it.
One night dp and oldest ds were in playing xbox in the kids bedroom, I was in the living room shouting youngest ds in to get his pj's on. In our living room at the time we had a black marble fire place so from where I was sitting on the couch, I could see the reflection of the hallway in the black part of the fire place (very clearly) i was watching in it for ds coming. I saw 2 small white legs walk by the living room door, (but not in the was a child would walk, very smoothly) followed almost instantly by ds, who stood at the door way facing the way the legs had just walked by. I jumped up to go see but there was nothing there. I went into the bedroom to see if dp and older ds had left but I knew they hadn't because I could hear them in there the whole time. I asked youngest ds what he was looking at but he just ignored me a ran into the living room. I didn't ask again. I didn't want to make a big deal of it, but anytime dp had to do a night shift, I had to have mum or brother stay with me Blush. We are still in this house and nothing else has really ever happened. The odd noise, but I can usually make up an explanation for it.
Dp was convinced once that I had got up for the toilet one night while he was watching a film till late. I hadn't, but he was determined someone walked through the hall. He also told me recently, when he came in from a night shift, and was sleeping in the loving room, he was sure someone walked into the room. He said it was probably just him hallucinating from lack of sleep but who knows.
