Cold - how did I catch the bloody thing?

So I have had a cold (and yes it's a cold) since Friday . Mostly over it , but still taking meds. DD and DH are and have been fine

Thing is , I am an official shielded and since the relaxation in August, have continued shielding, only going out for local walks with very distanced contact with neighbours.

My daughter was furloughed and has gone back to work one day a week , the rest furloughed. Even she has been kept a distance from customers in the coffee shop staying behind the shielded counter.

DH is WFH.

Yes we get food deliveries and various parcels and open them , then washing our hands straight away.

So how could I have caught this bloody cold? [perplexed]

In the height of lockdown when DD and I had only been out for walks we both got a cold; I had a Covid year to confirm. DH who had been out briefly to do shopping didn’t get ill. I wondered if he had a very mild version of a cold with imperceptible symptoms and I’d got it as I was more run down
