The dog is snoring and she sounds like a demented owl.

frankie001 · 14/09/2020 02:17

Mind racing, heart racing too. Also considering a peanut butter bagel.

Chickenwing · 14/09/2020 02:19

I just have Sunday evening anxiety. I rarely sleep well but it's worse on Sundays. I've just had a glass of milk & am watching friends. Hope I am asleep in the next half hour!! Good luck falling asleep everyone :)

mogloveseggs · 14/09/2020 02:19

Another cant sleep here.
Minds racing.
Not been up to bed yet and just started yawning so I might try to get a few hours

FloraButterCookie · 14/09/2020 02:20

Can't shake off the feeling that something isn't quite right

Anothermuther · 14/09/2020 02:25

@Chickenwing yes Sunday night anxiety is a very real thing.my kids always get it before a new week in school.i get it thinking about what needs doing and feeling under pressure until said things are done.
Sleep well!

On a 6pm-4am shift. So much harder working from home when I'm 2ft away from my bed 🎉

VeggieSausageRoll · 14/09/2020 02:28

That was supposed to be a 😴 emoji, I'm definitely not celebrating

Irisheyesrsmiling · 14/09/2020 02:33

Overtired, had an argument with one of my dc and feel I should have explained things better, contemplating money decisions, unfit and need to feel better in my self and finally worried.

Life is definitely not all sunshine and light Confused

Irisheyesrsmiling · 14/09/2020 02:34

Also need to send a couple emails for work and tomorrow (today in fact!) is packed to the brim and I'm dreading it.

frankie001 · 14/09/2020 02:34

@Anothermuther no idea for anxiety! And no bagels, have had to use toast instead!

Anothermuther · 14/09/2020 02:40

@Irisheyesrsmiling ahh sounds like you've alot going on.thats a shame.dont beat yourself up about your dc,talk to them in the morning, make it right before they go school, have a hug.make tomorrow the day you decide to walk abit more when you can and cut out anything that makes you feel unhealthy. I've been shouty mum today but I know and my kids know I love them.life is actually pretty grim for me just now but I'm trying to change it and accept what I cant.
Sleep well friend

Could try a body scan for anxiety. Works well lying in bed

Catlover77 · 14/09/2020 02:45

Had a nap this afternoon and now lying here wide awake.

frankie001 · 14/09/2020 02:47

Thanks @VeggieSausageRoll going to try that and will come back if it doesn’t work!!

lilmishap · 14/09/2020 02:47

It's only 245am, until 5am it's not official that I can't sleep.

But if I start thinkng about my fifty year old face on my 40 yr old skull I'll be up till november. When I'll look sixty.

Insomnia was cooler as a Faithless track

FlowerPig · 14/09/2020 02:48

Pregnancy insomnia. I've been waking up at this time and then can't get back to sleep for a few hours.

Tonight's it is accompanied by the worst case of piles I've ever had, so itchy which probably isn't helped by the heat 🥴🥴 The joys of the 3rd trimester hey!!

On another note - anyone noticed how pretty the crescent moon looks? 🌙

lilmishap · 14/09/2020 02:56

@Irisheyesrsmiling that shit is after the sleep. You can't get any of it done till then.

Overtired = it all seems so much harder.

Argument is done, emails will be sent, unfit is not a middle of the night issue, money....Skint isn't affected by sleep usually, neither is late payments but coping is.

It will all be there tomorrow waiting for you to plough through it. Do it then.

Irisheyesrsmiling · 14/09/2020 03:12

@Anothermuther and @lilmishap thank you! Sound advice too about those things coming after sleep lilmishap.

Dare I admit perhaps I'm dreading tomorrow a bit. Need to be at children's hospital by 7:40 am with dc who won't want to go! Sad And need to tell line manager I will have to rearrange meetings. She will be supportive but it's a headache.

Itsatoughgig · 14/09/2020 03:13

I’m also awake. Sleep has been all over the place lately especially with DS not sleeping through any longer

anotherwinkywinkybumbum · 14/09/2020 03:18

I've ended a 25 year, life long, friendship. It's for the best as her life choices were concerning and I couldn't deal with the stress anymore. She is a grown woman who can make her own decisions but it's her children I worry about. It appears she may be lying to me about those decisions and THAT is the straw that broke the camel's back.

I feel free but sad.
