Just that really. Had a test yesterday at 9am and wondering how long it will take as due at work tomorrow!

Had my test at 7.30pm on Tuesday; results came through via text & email at 8pm on the Wednesday. Was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency...

Dogsaresomucheasier · 13/09/2020 11:40

Last week my son had a test at 5pm Friday night, result was back at 11 pm Saturday.

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 13/09/2020 11:40

Just over 24 hours

Apples6544 · 13/09/2020 11:55

OH had test last Friday 3pm and got results 8am Sunday morning

Aozora13 · 13/09/2020 11:57

DC were tested at 2pm on a Saturday, results in at 6am Sunday.

rarotonga2 · 13/09/2020 11:58

Around 12 hours, but this was in June when cases were lower.

SlumdogMummy · 13/09/2020 11:59

30 hours test last Sunday.

Aragog · 13/09/2020 11:59

66 hours.
Had test at 4:30pm on Tuesday as a walk through centre. Results came through on Friday morning.

superking · 13/09/2020 12:00

I was tested at 10.30am, results back at 3.30am the next day.

misselphaba · 13/09/2020 12:00

Tested yesterday morning and it was back early this morning.

LunchBoxPolice · 13/09/2020 12:01

20 hours

lifesalongsong · 13/09/2020 12:03

If you'd read the eleventy billion other threads that ask the same question you'd know that no one can tell you and when everyone got their results has nothing to do with when you'll get yours.

I know this stating the bleeding obvious but your question pre-supposes some kind of set timescale for testing and only those living in caves within caves must be unaware of the present testing situation Grin

CheeseCrackersAndWine · 13/09/2020 12:03

12 hours but that was a few weeks ago

Thirtyrock39 · 13/09/2020 12:04

63 hours (east mids) same as a few others round here- we tested Thursday

speakout · 13/09/2020 12:04

Took 4 days for my OH last week.

jimmyhill · 13/09/2020 12:06

Tested yesterday morning and it was back early this morning.

Same here. Oddly they emailed about four hours before they texted the results. I guess the government doesn't want to be texting people at 2am

Yabvu to post this here and not in the coronavirus section. Or reading the millions of other threads on this subject.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 13/09/2020 15:15

48 hours for mine - scary wait

DemiBourbon · 13/09/2020 15:22

2 DC had tests 2.30pm Friday afternoon, 1 DC has just got the results, other DC still waiting.

mumofBeth · 13/09/2020 15:29

Dd had her test last Monday... Still waiting! Helpline have said they can see it in the system and will fast track it now. I don't think that many have had to wait this long though.

Mindfullness · 13/09/2020 15:33

Thanks everyone, very helpful :)

Oh and unchienandalusia I really don't need your permission which section I post in! You sound like a really kind and friendly individual .... pathetic
