Aibu to think that a brand should have standardised sizes in their own damn products!! HmmGrin

Yanbu. Have you contacted their customer services?

AriettyHomily · 12/09/2020 09:30

Nothing does. Looking at you H&M

unimaginativeusernamehere · 12/09/2020 09:30

Is the smaller one black by any chance? I always find black things in the same style are slightly smaller.

monsterad · 12/09/2020 09:44

Nope! Both black. Freya idol bra in a 32E fits, Freya deco bra in a 32E doesn't fit!

Wtf.

Regardless, bravissimo are sending out a 32F in the deco. Keeping the idol

It's the change in style.different cut and shape.

D4rwin · 12/09/2020 09:45

It's shit isn't it? Although I do find some styles are more able to hold my boobs in a smaller size than others but I am right on the measurement between cup sizes.

monsterad · 12/09/2020 09:46

Yeah.. but really, Freya should accommodate the differences in style and size accordingly

I bought two the same in different colours from H&M. One is definitely tighter than the other and has been from the start! I wear the black one when I'm feeling fatter/PMS

Seriously??? I think you're right though!

I have the same bra in two different colours one being black. The white one is a perfect fit but the black one is a bit too small!

Different styles work for differently shaped boobs though. I can't wear certain styles at all and can be different sizes in other styles.

Pacif1cDogwood · 12/09/2020 10:25

It may depend on the shape rather than size IYKWIM, both of your boobs and of the cut of the bra.

But yes, sizes are generally a joke... I am now buying my favourite bra from eBay as it is no longer generally available. What I will do when that source runs dry, I don't know . I'm already limited to dodgy colours Grin

Yeah, I genuinely think it's something to do with the dying process and the elastic.

PinkSnowAndStars · 12/09/2020 10:26

I usually find Freya ones the best.

To be fair I stick with the deco as I know that’s what fits me best. Other brands in the same size don’t fit me... but I’ve got a strange shape 😬🤣

monsterad · 12/09/2020 10:31

The deco is such a lovely bra. Just need a size up and it'll be perfect. The idol is nice, slightly higher cups, nice shape

lurker101 · 12/09/2020 10:35

@Prettybluepigeons is right - it’s to do with the shape - I always find I need to go up a size in balconette bras.

mrsBtheparker · 12/09/2020 12:55

I bought two bras from the same shop, same size, similar style but one was D and one DD, didn't have them both in the same cup size . The D fitted perfectly the DD was too small!
