to be annoyed my DH fancies women older than me

I don't know if any of you have been watching Top Gear (I bloody hate it) but DH loves it and watches it every week. But This weeks guest was Helen Mirran - My DH said he fancied her - I just laughed but I vaguely remember him saying he fancied her ages ago -DH seems to have a thing for older women which makes me feel quite inadequate.

We are both in our 30's, 2 kids (2 and 5)and I know he likes the older woman (has made it quite clear .

The thing is I work out at the gym, have quite an okay figure (size 10-12) but I always notice when we are out he eyes up older women .

AIBU to be feel inadequate? would it be unreasonable to look for a toyboy ? No seriously - Have I every right to feel peed off???

I'm astonished how many men do fancy older women but from my point of view it's quite good lol

YABU - I'd feel quite chuffed - you know he's never going to leave you for a younger model! Seriously, would you rather he gawked at teenagers with plastic boobs in the Sun? I think he is obviously attracted to the allure, intelligence and confidence gained with maturity - a good thing in my book.

being married does not stop your DH/ DW fancying or admiring other women/ men

do you not fancy or think anyone else is good looking?

It is normal to find other people attractive whether you are married or not, but it is bad manners to mention it to your spouse.

Next time you could say, yes dear of course you fancy other people, we all do. Why are you telling me about it?

My dh loves older women, but then he is younger than me!!!

It's perfectly normal to fancy other people, older or younger, no harm in window shopping and Helen Mirren is gorgeous for her age so at least he has taste and as has already been said at least he wont go off you when you get older!

nigella lawson for my dhthough he likes older women too let him have his fantasy though i wouldnt be impressed at him eyeing up real people on front of me!

He does seem to fancy older women like women in their 50's but only the ones that look after themselves, i.e. good figure etc.

i just don't get it, but i suppose it's a matter of taste, and i would guess she's at least 20 years older than me.
