To ask if any of you have this Jellycat?

A couple of days ago, I won a Jellycat on eBay that I’ve been searching for yet the sale was cancelled after payment due to another buyer offering more.

I am desperately seeking this Jellycat in large size (36cm head to toe) for a young relative. I don’t want to give away too many details as I feel this post is already identifying as I’ve been posting everywhere I can - I have name changed too.

They sell for a lot of money on eBay and I would be willing to pay via PayPal goods and services if anyone had one they would consider selling.

I would really appreciate it! This Jellycat is retired and can no longer be purchased.

@FirTree01
Thank you! I really appreciate it. That jellycat bluebell is very cute. I think it might be part of the new collection.

@genericusernamehere Thank you! that’s a great idea Smile

@Sam1515
Thank you, I appreciate it either way. They do make ‘baby/tiny’ sizes too which are smaller than the small bunnies which could explain why you thought the medium was the large. It’s very easily done Smile

You can still leave feedback even though they cancelled and I recommend you do so. You need to know where to look though. Find a list of all feedback needing to be left, it'll be there. It won't be on the now cancelled item itself though.

That seller is horrible. No morals.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:53

@HelloBolloxMyOldFriend

I left feedback for them, it’s a shame the number of characters you’re allowed is so low! The item is so rare it was part of a bundle I purchased and a reseller (I’m guessing) offered x2.5 the price. I offered an extra £15 and spoke to eBay to ask whether they’d be allowed to cancel and resell to me and eBay said yes but speaking to eBay got their back up and they refused Sad

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:55

I even told them why I wanted the item and apologised to them Confused for being angry etc etc to try and win them over but not luck. They accused me of threatening them as I told them I was going to report them.

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:58

Just to clarify I offered to pay what buyer 2 paid plus £15 for just the bunny alone and not the other 4 Jellycats in the bundle but they wouldn’t cancel Sad I didn’t just offer an extra £15 Grin

51cm / 20 inches in classed as 'huge'. I see it on USA Selfridges as 'huge' and other American places showing it that way.

Here: www.selfridges.com/US/en/cat/jellycat-bashful-plush-bunny-huge_164-85424404-BAH2BB/?previewAttribute=BLUE&cm_mmc=PLA--GoogleUS--KIDS-_-JELLYCAT&POR=Y&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=na_na_pla-b_na_na_na_INT_USA-PLA-KIDS&gclid=CjwKCAjwnef6BRAgEiwAgv8mQe5pOn6QMSLewUW2srCnlqjso0SZ3dFPhSmJRvpbqsSkM3hUv92lwhoCtM8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

OP, do you know what the bigger one might have been generally labelled as? I'm thinking if it was specifically called something like 'giant' then this is another way to search that might bring up more leads.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 02:03

They didn’t make the bluebell colour in anything larger than a large.
But sizes for other colours of bunnies are tiny, small, medium, large, huge, very big, really big.

It’s just a large bluebell I’m looking for at the moment. I do really appreciate it and I think I’ve checked most sites so I’m hoping for one unloved in someone’s home

^ PS, I know that's the lighter blue one and we want Bluebell, I'm trying to think of another way it could be being described online. If it might be called something like like 'Bluebell gigantic' it might suddenly start showing up in places it wasn't before.

FirTree01 · 11/09/2020 02:05

^ OK, on really big. Yes, I understand, agree your best bet is someone here or contacting Jellycat themselves. Sorry if you've already said you've done the latter. :)

Smileifyoucan · 11/09/2020 02:10

You might have tried this. There are five reviews for the large bunny on Amazon which obviously, is no longer available. If you use the Ask Question function on the listing, the people who have bought the bunny should get an alert. You might be able to ask if anyone still has it, I have no idea if this is allowed but you could try. The review that comes up first is from 2016 and it was a gift to an adult so you never know.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 02:11

@FirTree01
I really appreciate the effort you’ve put in. I’ve emailed Jellycat but unfortunately I don’t think they have any. I’ve sent another incase they had a damaged one like a previous poster suggested.

Thank you again!

Aw, no probs, you don't need to thank me, I enjoyed this kind of thing Smile.

Please do let us know if you find it!

Well, after all this time spent on Jellycats, I think I'm going to treat myself to this! :

So you led me to something cute I probably wouldn't have otherwise found. Smile

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 02:28

@FirTree01
I’ll definitely let you know!
Aww that’s lovely, like I said, I have Jellycats of my own. They’re such good quality and they have some great designs Smile.

i hope you love your little pencil! I’m not sure where you’re based but fleurtations sell him and he’s cheaper on there but they’re UK based although I think they do ship abroad.

John Lewis said they 3 and an order request was put in for one but they’ve just called back and they don’t have it

If it's for a child with special needs, there is an organisation called Little Blue Cup who help source replacement objects for kids. There are no doubt similar Facebook pages. Or you could try some of the Jellycat fan pages and see if anyone has one they'd be willing to sell?

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 11:46

@nevermorelenore
They certainly have extra challenges but they aren’t yet diagnosed with anything but it’s been spoken about with school and medical professionals so I wouldn’t want to use such an important group as I feel I’d be exploiting them.

I’ve posted on the groups but unfortunately it is a very rare item. I don’t want to say too much as they’re ‘too old’ for this type of thing and I’ve posted all over Facebook etc but tried not to mention it in case anyone who knows them sees it as I don’t want to risk them being laughed at.

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 11:47

But I really appreciate your reply. This was the last places I decided I’d attempt and otherwise I’ll just try and keep a look out on Facebook and eBay again.

Hopefully the one I originally bought it relisted for ££ and I’ll have to suck it up and buy it if I can.

I think these are too small www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/589608508380144/

www.ebay.co.uk/p/12026014532?iid=303541080711

Could this be one? It says 12" which I think is 36cm?

ButteryPuffin · 11/09/2020 12:13

Can John Lewis not locate any of the 3 they think they have? Could you tweet them to see if someone running the social media can make more overarching enquiries?

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 12:23

@AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings
Thank you! They’re aqua so the wrong colour unfortunately.

@ohffs66
I think the large would be classed as 14 inches although some people do measure them sitting each which changes their size but that one in particular is a medium. Thank you for looking though.

@ButteryPuffin
I’ve tried on twitter but they just said to ring the store which said they don’t have any. And I’ve now been called by them 3 times for them to tell me the same thing Sad

OP posts:
Aristotleatemyhamster · 11/09/2020 12:28

Is this the medium or the large? It’s 12 inches but the proportions look a bit different from the ones claiming to be medium.
