To ask if any of you have this Jellycat?

A couple of days ago, I won a Jellycat on eBay that I’ve been searching for yet the sale was cancelled after payment due to another buyer offering more.

I am desperately seeking this Jellycat in large size (36cm head to toe) for a young relative. I don’t want to give away too many details as I feel this post is already identifying as I’ve been posting everywhere I can - I have name changed too.

They sell for a lot of money on eBay and I would be willing to pay via PayPal goods and services if anyone had one they would consider selling.

I would really appreciate it! This Jellycat is retired and can no longer be purchased.

If it’s for a child this organisation might be able to help littlebluecup.org/

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 16:41

Thank you! I was hoping someone would have one that was unloved, it looks like I might have to try using some dye

impatient2bmummy · 11/09/2020 16:56

No luck OP, sorry. I thinking dyeing might be your best bet! Maybe buy a second hand small white one to experiment with so you don't waste too much money. Good luck!

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 17:09

@impatient2bmummy

Thank you anyway, I appreciate it Smile

OP, could you send a message to the person who bought it on EBay? If they're a seller as well as a buyer you could use the "ask seller a q" on one of their own listings and offer to buy the bunny from them.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 17:19

@Madvixen
I can’t see who bought it as it hasn’t been resisted yet but I am looking out for it. It’s annoying though as it’s nasty to offer more when someone has already paid :( and the sale is finalised

I love the jellycat octopus 🐙

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 17:51

@FirTree01

Thank you! That is lovely of you.

If we don’t find one the ‘next best’ they’d like is apparently plum in large which is US exclusive and OOS pretty much everywhere! But I have found a huge and a few other US exclusives in large size and a stockist that’s willing to ship to the UK but they suggested using a forwarding service.

I don’t suppose you know of any? Ship it to seems the cheapest. The only one I’ve used is ebays service to send a very wanted jellycat to a lady in australia!

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 17:53

The bluebell is very much wanted but I hope an alternative that’s much easier to find will give some satisfaction and hopefully one day I’ll be lucky on eBay!

The octopus is very cool, comes in a few colours

Is this the right one? There is no name on its tag, however where I love we have an independent department store that have them that I could check?

Is the bunny on the left in this pic the right one by any chance?

riotlady · 11/09/2020 18:10

Never mind, Looking at the ears I think that’s actually a mouse, not a bunny! Sorry

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 18:12

@ivegotthisyeah
Thank you, I think yours looks like a baby blue although they can look different in photos.

@riotlady
That looks like a mouse, thank you though!

This is a really rare one. If it was on marketplace it would likely be there seconds Sad unless it was £££

ivegotthisyeah · 11/09/2020 18:20

@BluebellJellycat it was so hard to catch the colour it's a baby blue colour my sons. Does the label say the colour and name on it when you buy them?

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 18:27

@ivegotthisyeah
Not my photo but it will say this but large obviously on a new one! I’m not expecting a new one though Smile

I think yours is a blue

OP, I'm in Crabtree Valley Mall in North Carolina and they actually have a row of the bunnies, the larger ones that measure 15 inches/38cm in Blush, Gray, Cream, the baby blue and Tulip pink... not quite right, I know, but...

I talked to the store manager/owner lady and she said that she knows of people on Etsy making businesses out of personalizing JellyCat bunnies. So it could be that people have bought up stocks of the bunnies and are holding onto them!!

They are listing them on Etsy as 'personalized Easter bunnies'. I just searched for them myself. They are definitely Jellycat bunnies, you can see the labels. So you could message all of the sellers and ask them if they have the right blue.

This seller has 'blue' in stock in the 14inch (depending on how she's measured it, could be a bit smaller or bigger) but she hasn't said if it's dark blue or light blue: www.etsy.com/listing/687953515/large-personalized-bunny-monogrammed?ref=shop_home_feat_1&frs=1

So I just sent her a message to ask which shade of blue and to provide a picture if poss! I'll let you know if she answers me, or of course you ask too. :)

As for the plum in large, I found it here: www.thenaturalbabyco.com/products/jellycat-bashful-plum-bunny-large?variant=32241584472151&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_campaign=gs-2018-11-02&utm_source=google&utm_medium=smart_campaign&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIy6TbndDh6wIVluSzCh1avQdkEAQYASABEgLA0vD_BwE

It seems to be in stock, I went to the end of the checkout process just before paying, it let me get to the end so it seems to be available.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 18:58

@FirTree01
Thank you, I really appreciate all your help!
I think that site is no longer shipping to the U.K. due to COVID but a forwarding service would get around that, I just need to look into it and figure out all the charges so I don’t get any nasty surprises.

If I’m correct customs is £8 plus 20% of full cost (postage included) but I’ll dig deeper as I’m not sure of taxes etc.

OP posts:
FirTree01 · 11/09/2020 19:05

Sure. Or if you decide you want the Plum, I'll buy it and list it on my eBay and then send you the link. Is it definitely the right size and shape? The one on The Natural Baby Company? $32.50 is not much to me and I'll just figure out postage to the UK and obviously not add in fees! I don't mind at all if you decide you want to.

FirTree01 · 11/09/2020 19:08

PS, I don't know how to work private messaging here, but if you decide you want to go ahead with Plum, just let me know and then I'll put it on eBay and you'll know it's kosher as I don't want to spoil my 100% feedback! :)

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 20:02

@FirTree01
Aww you’re so kind! I’ll definitely let you know ASAP.
Private messages appear in the top right hand corner and to message someone you click the 3 dots on the right hand side at the bottom of their post.

Is it correct that with GSP eBay calculates all fees before payment? I’d definitely be interested if I had an idea of exactly what it would cost I’m trying to find someone that’s signed up to GSP so I could get a rough idea but they all say “customs to be added later” etc whereas when I shopped for a lady and spoke to eBay live chat they assured me all costs were upfront.
I don’t want you to purchase it for shipping to be astronomical. I do really appreciate it!

OP posts:
FirTree01 · 11/09/2020 20:13

^ I reckon I can figure it close so you'll know how much the total will be. I'll PM you now. Hopefully it'll work OK. :)

Starburst8 · 11/09/2020 20:16

@bluebell isn't this the bunny you're looking for?
