To ask if any of you have this Jellycat?

A couple of days ago, I won a Jellycat on eBay that I’ve been searching for yet the sale was cancelled after payment due to another buyer offering more.

I am desperately seeking this Jellycat in large size (36cm head to toe) for a young relative. I don’t want to give away too many details as I feel this post is already identifying as I’ve been posting everywhere I can - I have name changed too.

They sell for a lot of money on eBay and I would be willing to pay via PayPal goods and services if anyone had one they would consider selling.

I would really appreciate it! This Jellycat is retired and can no longer be purchased.

Sorry just seen what colour you're actually looking for, ours deffo isn't that shade sorry.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 00:49

@Justpickaname
Thank you! I think that’s a ‘fan account’ owned by someone who collects them but they might actually have an idea of where I could find one.

I really appreciate your help x

@miraloma
That’s okay, I appreciate the thought anyway Smile

Oh my goodness I didn’t realise there was such a big thing for jellycats reselling. Have you tried Facebook marketplace?

Looking at the list we have the retired lemon bunny, bluebell and all the ones with flowers in their ears, one in grey and one in pink. My daughter was jellycat obsessed when she was little so we had loads. She even got her friends into it and I’m sure at least one is carting round the large raspberry but I think it has flowers in its ears and definitely a large purple coloured one. They all still sleep surrounded by jellycat bunny’s .
Most of our toys when we are done with them go on marketplace not eBay as it’s easier.

I even bought my dog a lemon bunny as she kept stealing my daughters and now I’m looking at the well loved messed up lemon bunny in the dog bed aghast that I gave her that!

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 00:53

@MustShowDH
thank you but it’s not quite the correct shade Smile

@Sam1515
If you really do have all the blossoms I’d consider eBaying them if you ever decide to get rid! A very used rose blossom sold for £26.55 this evening

I’ve got Jellycats myself, they’re lovely! And I’ve collected more along the way since joining the Facebook groups Grin but I’m searching for this one after losing out.

It’s a massive thing! Some sell for over 600 dollars

I also forgot to add that they go very fast on Facebook marketplace. They sell in seconds if people are willing to post so I’ve not found one yet but I’m not giving up. Thank you for the suggestion! @Sam1515

Is this the one?

Sam1515 · 11/09/2020 01:01

Yes I’ve never even thought about it. These are what hers look like. She had this style in grey, beige and pink. I think these are small?
Is there any reason you are desperate for this one if you don’t mind me asking?
We’ve always just bought for birthdays and special occasions and things so she’s not attached to any one of them in particular. She still sleeps stroking their ears but she doesn’t mind which one it is if you see what I mean. but I understand some kids get really upset if they lose a bunny. Her friend sleeps with the large pink one with flowers every night and can’t sleep without it

@BabriePezSweets
It’s not unfortunately, the colour I’m looking for is called bluebell and is darker.
Although I really appreciate you looking and I cannot fault fleurtations they are a brilliant site/shop.

Thank you! I’ve looked at that site before but I can’t seem to add one to my basket so I assumed they were out of stock. Maybe I’m being stupid![/quote]
Ive posted this like 3 times so sorry if it appears in the thread 3 times 🤦🏽‍♀️

I see what you mean OP.

This doesn't say the size (that I can see) but has a hefty price tag Shock

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:08

@Sam1515
It’s one that’s rare and a younger relative would now really like one in that particular colour and size. I’ve been searching and then I found one on eBay for them but the sale fell through.

I was hoping someone would have one that they didn’t care about and they’d be willing to sell. I’m not trying to deceive anyone and I’m well aware they go for lots of money which I will pay.

@PassMeTheSwizzle
Wow! It’s 31cm so a medium but I appreciate it Smile I don’t think I could justify £130 plus shipping for it even if it was the right size Sad

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:13

@MustShowDH
Thank you! I can’t figure out how to add to basket

Sam1515 · 11/09/2020 01:17

Ah no offence; I was just wondering as with it not being a replacement dyeing a lighter blue one may be the easier option as they won’t know what colour it’s meant to be.
Bluebell is a lovely purple blue colour but it would be quite hard to replicate for us as she already knows what colour it’s meant to be, whereas if your relative has never seen it before I think you could probably get away with it.

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:21

@Sam1515
I wasn’t offended, sorry if my post came across like that, it was not my intention. I don’t want to ask anyone to give up any bunnies that would be missed in any way, I’d never ask that. Only those that wouldn’t mind selling them for a bit of extra money.

There’s got to be one lying somewhere unloved. I hope anyway. I will definitely consider dying one though.

Sam1515 · 11/09/2020 01:34

I know you mentioned it before but would a medium one not do? As the medium is only 5cm smaller than the large. I think the picture you had of the size comparisons showed an extra small, small and medium. The small is 7 inch, medium is 12 inch and large is 14inch so there’s not a huge amount difference between medium and large but quite a bit of difference between small and medium.
Sorry if you’ve already mentioned this. Just this medium one looks in good shape

BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:37

@Sam1515
We have a medium, it’s the large I’m looking for. I don’t have another medium bunny to hand but large bunny vs medium bashful (same shape) cow to show difference in size.

As I said, this is just a final effort. I don’t want anyone to give up anything that is being loved

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 11/09/2020 01:38

Just hoping someone would have one they no longer wanted and could make £50/60 from it. I do really appreciate you trying to help though @Sam1515

Size differences shown in the beige colour. I’m really grateful for everyone who has commented Smile

Yes, the 36 is SO hard to find, it's got me beat. I've been trying for a good couple of hours. I really hope you find it in the end, OP.

On another note, how cute is this? www.jellycat.com/us/amuseable-bluebell-a2bb/

So another kind of Jellycat Bluebell. But now I want it, it's out of stock too!

genericusernamehere · 11/09/2020 01:43

I'm sorry I don't have one to offer but I've been on the retired jellycat hunt before! Try small florists, lots have jellycats and occasionally they have old stock. That's how I managed to find a retired penguin a year or two ago. Good luck!

Sam1515 · 11/09/2020 01:44

Ah no. I think I mistook the large for a medium. It’s like gold dust finding a large then as I’ve been thinking it was the medium sized one. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
I’ve just dug ours out of her room, but it’s a medium unfortunately. I’ve had a rake but we don’t have any of the large ones other than a unicorn. I think they were too big for her when she was younger so we stuck with smaller sizes.
