If you have a cleaner . . . .? (Part 2)

I posted last night i was on the verge of cancelling the cleaner coming (after years of debating whether to get one because I wasn't posh enough) . I wanted to spend the evening cleaning before she got here but i got lots of reassurance to just tidy.

She came and was fab, we discussed what I want doing and have increased from 2 hours to 3 hours (£12p/hr) - not mega ecpensice and id sacrifice other things.

Wishing I got one years ago.....would have save many arguements with useless DH

I'm glad you went ahead and it has worked out well for you.
Like most things in life, it works much better when you communicate.

You'll find almost certainly tht in two or three weeks she will have sped up, so, depending on what you agreed - either she won't get it all done the first week or two, or she will finish early after that. You need to have a think if you are going to pay her £36 for 'doing the jobs on the list' or if you are paying her £36 for being there for 3 hours.

It is a lovely feeling though, having your house all clean. Money very well spent, IMO.
