Is he a Jasper?

Picking up this chap Oct 8th. We are pretty set on Jasper. He's a lurcher.
What do you think?

To me, a Jasper is a large, orange tom cat. Doggo is a cutie but he looks like an Enzo or a Boris to me.

There is no way on this earth we could call him Boris or Stanley. We are not Johnson supporters.
I think we'll stick with Jasper. I like the whimsy of people thinking I'm talking about a big ginger cat!

I think of a golden retriever when I think of the name Jasper - i think yours looks like a Winston.

I got the name ‘Moose’ when I saw him!

Jasper is a light brown/golder retriever type who will dig up anything he can. He is also a big black lab. Jasper is everywhere, he needs something more tailored.

I agree with PP, he looks like a Badger but suspect there are many of those too.
