Tradesman with a cold!

Had a tradesman in this morning for about an hour. I realised after he'd been here for about 5 minutes that he had a streaming cold! In normal times this would have been annoying but acceptable, but at the moment I feel he should at least have checked before coming if it was ok. If he's managed to catch a cold then what else has he got?? We are in an area of intervention as well... I have anxiety so don't always see things rationally - AIBU about this?

Not good, disinfectant anything that he touched, open all windows, light a lamp fragrance if you have one. I certainly would not be happy.

I have anxiety around covid and I still think you need to get a grip. People are going to get colds all winter and still work just as they always have - I would actually get disciplinary from work for taking time off for a colds. If they have symptoms of covid then self isolate and test, otherwise it’s a cold. He should be wearing a mask and be washing hands frequently when at your house though

YABU. The economy will collapse if everyone is off every time they have the sniffles. It's pathetic.
Is he wearing a mask? If not give him one.
Does he have access to hot water, soap and a towel and shown where he can wash his hands frequently?
Have you asked what symptoms he's got/if he's had a test?

Was he wearing a mask throughout? YANBU, I'd have been annoyed too.

I would expect him to check if it's still ok to come. And no he didn't wear a mask, I can't believe I didn't think... I was dealing with about 3 things including a toddler tantrum when he arrived unfortunately. Argh what an idiot I am.
