To dump this milk?

DH and me celebrated a big anniversary last night. I left DS (6 months) with babysitter & expressed milk and we went out for dinner. I drank 2 pornstar martini's, half a bottle of wine and a glass of champagne (hic!). I was definitely very merry when I got back home. For some unbeknown reason I didn't pump when I got in and woke up at 4am with massive leaky boobs. I pumped a huge 9oz out and it's sitting in my fridge. Now I'm not sure whether it should be dumped or not? I had my last drink around 11pm. WWYD?

Your milk alcohol level is the same as your blood alcohol level at the time of pumping.

You can calculate it here

No need to dump it. You’d have to basically be dead from alcohol poisoning for your milk to have enough alcohol present to affect your baby.

Thanks! I have bagged it up and frozen it.

I used to label the bags “alcohol milk” if I was t sure and use them when weaning to mix with purées or make custard etc.

@Generallybewildered as long as the health visitor doesn't pop round and check your fridge Grin
I am going to mix it with some non-boozy milk! I know probably not necessary but it looks like a lot of foremilk anyway (as I was so engorged).
