Thats the only day we stay in bed - the kids watch the TV whilst we snooze and every week theres a knock at the door, and he sees that we are in bed - not dressed - not had brekfast yet ect ... but will still turn up next week.

Hes so loud and annoying too.

The only reason he does it is because he coaches football near us on a sunday ... so our Sunday has to de disrupted every week so he can fit the visit into HIS timetable!!

So now Ive had to come upstairs and hide till hes gone - because im not ready to be seen at all! Plus I was just in my dressing gown and hes a perv!

Grrrr

I want to eat my toast!!!

YANBU,
I say go down and eat toast and ignore him

One of my FIL's (Yes I have two set's) is like this, I'd much rather my MIL come round

GoodGollyMissMolly · 07/10/2007 10:37

How annoying!! I'd hide til he went too!

miobombino · 07/10/2007 11:37

Get your dh to enterain him or tell him not to come round. far too early !

helenhismadwife · 07/10/2007 12:53

I would stay in bed make my dh answer the door and then get him to bring me a cup of coffee and my laptop to bed and while he entertains fil I would come on mumsnet for a chat and ebay for a browse until he left

chipmonkey · 07/10/2007 13:36

kits, does your dh tolerate this? My FIL would not be welcome in our house if he carried on like that, dh would kick him out pronto!

2mum · 07/10/2007 13:39

Say something or get your dh to tell him to call later or another day. Dont let him walk over you.

cerys · 07/10/2007 13:49

If my FIL smacked my bottom I would not be answerable for my actions. You do need to sort this out!

Sidge · 07/10/2007 15:41

Don't answer the door.

He'll soon get the message.
