To get a cleaner

We’re a young professional couple currently renting a 2 bed flat but saving to buy a house next year. My question is would it be unreasonable to get a cleaner in every couple weeks when we should be saving for a house. We’re both good at keep the place generally clean but it’s the jobs like cleaning the microwave/oven that I just don’t think we’ll get around to or even think of.

If you can afford it, why not. A cleaner for an hour a week and it doesn’t delay your house deposit fund too much then I would say go for it.

I have every intention of getting a cleaner after Christmas so I don’t spend what little free time I do have cleaning up.

It's your money, spend it how you want. Unreasonable doesn't come into it.
