I use the Wilkinson sword ones, about every 10 days and they do a good job with no knicks or redness.

Meggymoo777 · 07/09/2020 18:48

They're super! I've used them on my face regularly for about a year (just usual downy fluff?) , helps creams/serums etc absorb, also, my make up sits so much better. Have now reached the age where I have slight mustache hairs to contend with 🙄 and it's amazing for that too!

puffinkoala · 07/09/2020 19:07

I have one and can't work out how it works! Is there a knack to it? I watched a youtube video and still couldn't do it!

PerpendicularVincent · 07/09/2020 19:15

I shaved my legs with mine when I was on a conference call with my boss this week.

Binnie0309 · 07/09/2020 19:18

I use one every two weeks. I find it really helps my complexion to 'glow' because make up sits better - also a bonus that you can't see the moustache Hmm it doesn't hurt and I don't get redness. I'm not sure if it's the proper way but I do it after a shower and do my eyebrows at the same time. Go for it!

Toddlerteaplease · 07/09/2020 19:54

I've got the Wilkinson sword ones as well and they really are amazing!

dementedma · 07/09/2020 19:57

Got the Hollywood browzer in lockdown. It’s great

Toddlerteaplease · 07/09/2020 19:57

It's the only thing that gets rid of my hairy mole!

FrankieFrankFrank · 07/09/2020 20:30

Does anyone have some tips for them? I can’t seem to get to grips with it

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 07/09/2020 20:42

@FrankieFrankFrank

I use some facial oil first, then pull the skin taught or make all those funny faces that do the same job, you know mouth wide open or ,kissing at the wall to your left and right Grin

Blade at a 45 degree angle to your skin then short strokes. I did buy the Veet dermaplane thingy which buzzes but the refills seem to be in short supply and are pricey, while the Wilkinson sword ones are usually on offer everywhere.

I've attached a pic of the veet instructions if that helps

Ive been using them since the beginning of lockdown.

I do it about once every 10 days. Gets rid of all the peach fuzz. I have had less spots (don't know if its that though.) I get terrible dry skin between my eyebrows and that has eased too.

I use a bit of facial oil and then some aloe gel after.

@TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 that is really helpful thanks...Grin

Doesn't the hair all grow back black and stubbly though?

Binnie0309 · 20/09/2020 17:35

Doesn't the hair all grow back black and stubbly though?
No it hasn't for me!
MustShowDH · 20/09/2020 17:39

What's the difference between this and men shaving?
I'm really worried I'd end up with 5 o'clock shadow if I started and didn't carry on.
