To take more time off work

Hello,

I don't know if I am being unreasonable or just being a baby really 😂

I suffered with HG in early pregnancy so had a lot of time off of work due to it (about four weeks and days here and there when it was pretty bad otherwise I tried my best to attend work)

Sickness has finally done yay! And I've managed to be at work for a few weeks but yesterday I got the worse pain I've had and could barely walk, I thought I was losing the baby and it got so bad I went into hospital- it turned out I have a very nasty infection that's spread - everything else is okay but I'm in a lot of pain (thank god baby is okay).

I'm trying to stay at work as in WFH and don't want them to think I'm taking the piss but my pregnancy is pretty difficult (I feel like a baby saying this as millions of women go through it problem free) but if my pain gets worse and I become more uncomfortable I'm not sure what to do, I work on the phones so it's not like it's the hardest job in the world but I am really uncomfortable to the point sitting still and talking for 10 hours is hard?

Please don't hold back calling me a baby haha I don't know I'm probably being soft, god help me in labour.
