It’s a terrible ad , seems cheap and tacky so very like Asda I suppose .

He reminds me of Stephen Mangan

He looks a bit like the actor that played Adrian Mole in the tv series. ( cba to look up his name)
I hate all ads these days and I tend to mute them or turn it over if it's really annoying. Then turn it back! Or tape the shows and whizz past the ads.

Definitely sounds like "fuck it up" which is appropriate given that's exactly what he's done to the advert.

We have a small Asda the other side of town and it's not too bad. They play some nice tunes and sell everything I need. I only don't go there that often as it's a bit of trek. The staff are friendly too.
I don't get the Mumsnet dislike of the Asda stores , but the ad is annoying!

Not watched TV with commercials for a good couple of years now. Glad to see the Asda arse slap is still a thing.

I can't understand half of what he says and I clearly hear "fuck it up" at the end. I wonder how it wasn't noticed by anyone.

I saw this this morning and just thought what a shit advert it is. Is that really the best they can come up with? I didn't really understand what they were trying to achieve by it to be honest. I just can't understand how they can watch it back and think, yep, that's an ad to be proud of.

Trust me the colleagues aren’t thrilled with it either.

If they want me to jovially slap my arse they’re going to have to pay me way more.

That ad is naff, I'll give you that. However, they delivered my shopping every week during lockdown since late March, without fail. Tesco in comparison was hopeless.
