What is the craziest example of a mid-life crisis you've witnessed?

My middle aged neighbour has just bleached his hair white blonde (actually suits him!) and bought a skateboard. He is approaching 50 and is normally very conservative and reserved! Could this be a mid-life crisis?

What is the strangest midlife crisis behaviour you have witnessed?

Parents friends bought a derelict mansion and spent the next 10 years regretting their decision due to the continued need to do maintenance and decorating

My dad ran away with a 28 year old cello player.

My BIL left my SIL for another woman. Also jacked in his job to become an artist.

He's actually not doing too badly as an artist but he hasn't seen his son in 18 months. No one in the family sees him at all anymore but apparently he's "happy and free".

Maybe that's actually a normal mid life crisis

😂 Omg a skateboard. I really hope he stays upright on it as I'm the same age and things don't heal as well these days.

My ex just did the typical mlc thing. Multiple affairs, bought a motorbike, wanted a boat (we live nowhere near any water), started veeting his nuts and wouldn't let me see etc etc. Designer clothes. No skateboard though.

My dad had an affair with someone just a couple of years older than me.
