I would say currently it's Geoff from Corrie.

Nancy from Stranger Things. Unbearable.

Also Ross from Friends. So annoying, so controlling, I was screaming 'STAY ON THAT PLANE!' at the end.

I agree with the pp who said Tom Good; self-righteous, pompous, selfish. I think Richard Briers said he was the most annoying character he’d ever played. It really pissed me off in the last episode that Jerry offered him a job (as the Good’s house and garden had been trashed) and HE FUCKING REFUSED. He’d rather have him and Barbara live in poverty for the sake of HIS beliefs, because he basically didn’t want to work in a “normal” job anymore. I mean, I sympathise in a way but he irritated me so much. I love Margo though!

Another vote for Becky Bloomwood. Embarrassingly, even though she's an infuriating character I still enjoy re-reading the books as Sophie Kinsella is amazing at writing comic scenes, but Becky never seemed to grow up, even when her selfishness had massive repercussions for others, and so got progressively more annoying with each book. I think the author should have stopped after the first book tbh.

Another vote for Becky bloodwood from the shopaholic series so shallow and empty but everything always just magically falls in to place.... Spoilt and indulged by everyone.... I did read shopaholic and sister and was over joyed when the sister finally put her down but it didn't last long....

Any of the simpering female lead characters in a Sophie Kinsella novel...they put feminism back 100 years, each and every one of them.

Sue Bridehead and Eustacia Vye, women written by a man and fickle as hell. Anna Karenena, read it at 20 and thought she was a romantic heroine, read it again at 50 and wondered what waswrong with her. Mr Collins.

Dawn in Buffy...know she had people dying and being a key drama etc but the way she was written...I think even the actress was unhappy with it at one stage
