Hi, Can anyone please let me know what experience they have had with Utility Warehouse recently? I noticed the comments below are from a long time ago.

Thanks

The comments below what?

I used them years ago and they were cheap and fine. What do you think is a scam?

I was just reading the previous comments and wondered why they were so negative and if there were any up to date comments.

You’ve started a new thread. It isn’t attached to whatever you were reading so there are no “comments below” for anyone reading this.

If you can post the url of the page with the comments on people could go and read them.

I have no experience with Utility Warehouse, though, so I can’t help whether you do that or not.

they are a multi level marketing company and so for ethical reasons i personally would avoid them

There are lots of both negative and positive comments on Trustpilot .

It looks like lots of people are very happy with the service - and then when they leave they find they owe way more than they thought.

Here's a link to the 'Which?' review of them. www.which.co.uk/reviews/energy-companies/article/energy-company-reviews/utility-warehouse

It looks like in common with many companies, it's fine while all is going well, but when you have a problem or complaint, it all goes a bit tits up.

I would approach with caution and always send in meter readings when they estimate them.

It wouldn't be for me personally, as I like to do my own research and choose my own providers for all my utilities.

ChristmasFluff · 06/09/2020 17:25

Oh gosh, yes, it's an MLM - if you are thinking of doing it as a business thing, don't.

The Which? stuff above is purely as a supplier, NOT to do with it as a business opportunity. MLMs are pyramid schemes. You will not make money.

Thank you so much for the comments. I really appreciate the honesty!

I am pretty much looking for work, so thought of that as my business has gone to the floor in the conference and events industry. So desperately looking for work to do from home! We haven't had an income since March. I sell Tropic Skincare but need another job.
Hey ho! 2020 can go!
