@Tiltheend

Derek Shepard
This.

I have rewatched seasons 1 - 11 of Grey’s several times. I really struggle to watch past 11 as it all seems to just fizzle out

Newmum3200 · 07/09/2020 19:14

John Coffee. Makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

glowfrog · 07/09/2020 19:17

@Carpetness

And how could I forget about han bloody solo!!!
OMG yes. And Tony Stark in Endgame. 😭
Marlus · 07/09/2020 19:19

The soldier in The soldiering the queen by Susan Vega

First the horses and then the brothers in The brothers Lionheart

Mysa74 · 07/09/2020 19:20

@Lozz22
Yes, Duffy's passing was really well done, so well written and so sad. poor Charlie..
Jeff in casulaty was awful and really shocking, I really didn't see that coming!

214 · 07/09/2020 19:21

Inspector Morse, when Lewis kisses his forehead in the morgue it's just so moving.

Carpetness · 07/09/2020 19:27

Oh god I read that as a young child along with the steadfast tin soldier, and the selfish giant. All depressing as hell

LostaraYil · 07/09/2020 19:29

Bim the black eared dog in the book by Gavriil Trojepolski. Read it in a different language as a child and it's devastating.

JillApple · 07/09/2020 19:29

Caesar (Andy Serkis) in War of the Planet of the Apes. Knew it was coming but still had to shake the tears out of the 3D glasses in the cinema when he died...Blush

cuckooplusone · 07/09/2020 19:30

There are loads that have really upset me, having read the first few pages, Matthew Cuthbert stands out for me, I read the book aloud to my daughter and it was really hard!

Another one for me was John in the Archers - I had grown up listening with my mum and he was the same age as me.

Tunnocks34 · 07/09/2020 19:32

Arthur in Merlin, it literally ruined the whole series.

JillApple · 07/09/2020 19:33

And Mrs Frederickson -Ellie- in Up.That was a bad one.

Tunnocks34 · 07/09/2020 19:33

@Scottsy100 agree about the originals - particularly Hayley's death too, really just so pointless.

DrCoconut · 07/09/2020 19:34

Mountie Jack. If you've watched it during lockdown you'll know what I mean. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me, I won't tell if you don't 😂

Carpetness · 07/09/2020 19:34

@Solina

Anna from my sister's keeper. Made me so angry and I still think it ruined the whole book.
Did you see the film had a different ending?!? I refuse to watch the film.How can they change the ending so much!!
NotBeforeCoffee · 07/09/2020 19:34

Stringer Bell

FortunesFavour · 07/09/2020 19:38

Now I’m sorry to go on about it, but I’m worried that dear Granny Weatherwax’s sad demise is not attracting the wailing and gnashing of teeth that it truly deserves! With a few honourable exceptions above...Grin

Granny Weatherwax - I still miss you.

WashingMachineCrisis · 07/09/2020 19:39

Inside Number 9's Christine. I only have to think of that ending and I start to cry.

achapman · 07/09/2020 19:39

Fuchsia in Gormenghast

Twigletfairy · 07/09/2020 19:40

Granny weatherwax

ZappBrannigan · 07/09/2020 19:40

@iheartwinter it really was! Every so often you still see the odd flower placed where he died (! 😂)

FortunesFavour · 07/09/2020 19:41

Hooray for Twiglet!

TesticleMeElmo · 07/09/2020 19:41

Harry Dresden.

Hepzibar · 07/09/2020 19:49

Bilborough - Cracker (shocker - never watched it again)
Snape - a tragedy
Sirius Black - HP had only just found him - why in Gods name kill him off!?
