Do I send them to school?

One DC (4) congested with explosive sneezes which they can manage without help. The odd cough here and there. Starts reception on Monday.

The other DCs so far so good but one mentioned they feel like they might be getting a cold too. Their secondary starts on Monday too. One Starting yr7.

Quick vote.
YABU: don’t send them in.
YANBU: send them in.

See how the sneezy one feels in the morning, send the rest

Agree with @clarancesmum Smile

Well they don’t have symptoms of corona so I’d send them in.

Our schools have said that if you would normally send them in them to to go ahead as usual - unless they have the official symptoms of fever/cough/taste or smell loss. So in your case if I felt they were up to going in, I would send them to school.

So long as they're not feeling ill tomorrow and don't have fevers, yes I would.

TheGriffle · 06/09/2020 10:17

As above, they have a cold, not corona. If you would normally send them in with a cold, send them. Both my DD’s have been at nursery/school with a cold this week, they were fine, no issues at all.

TheKeatingFive · 06/09/2020 10:20

Yes, they don’t have symptoms of Corona.

IHateCoronavirus · 06/09/2020 10:23

They are fine otherwise. The snotty one is currently hopping about singing at the top of his voice. Normally I would send them in without question but these are strange times Blush

Yes. Just keep an eye on the cough or fever.

My youngest coughed a fair few times last night so we have self isolated and got tested. They'll be home until they hopefully test negative.
