Generally through this crisis, I've tried to make the most of things. I haven't been particularly anxious but have followed the rules for the greater good. I've been incredibly thankful that through the worst of the restrictions we had a largish house and a nice garden, local walks etc. Have made the most of outdoor gatherings with friends since it was allowed, have tentatively started seeing my parents whilst still taking precautions, keeping our distance, staying outside as much as possible etc.

This weekend I am surrounded by parties. There was a children's party backing onto our garden this afternoon and there's something going on across the road that clearly has many multiples of the two households/six people allowed.

We're in an area with very low cases atm but as I understand it, this is how the hot spots came about. I work in school, so am very aware of the new risks this week, but iant that a reason to make sure we reduce risk as much as possible in the rest of our lives.

Why is no one else worried, obviously all these people are happy to be at these events?

I think a lot of people are slipping back into their own normality and are choosing to apply their own interpretation to the rules. So many of the guidelines are confusing, conflicting or both. I know many, many people don’t trust the information they’ve been given and are going about life in their own way.
