AIBU to have attended a meeting with fuck, fucking, fuckers, etc? I know we need to let off steam though.

I'm a sweary person but can not swear if necessary. I used to work in a school and currently work in a religious organisation - I didn't/don't swear there.

I don't find it offensive as long as people aren't swearing at me.

I agree that's a big difference. I can't remember the last time I swore at someone.

But I do love swearing, tbh. It's so satisfying Grin

I always prefer working with cunts

NiceGerbil · 09/09/2020 21:04

I don't.

I like lovely friendly fuckers.

I've worked with some right cunts in the past, all men.

Cunt is a line for me interestingly. Feels misogynistic. My sweary male team don't say it. Probably because I never have. We all adapt, see. Easy.

Swear a bit, always worked in male dominated IT environments. Did once get a mild comment from my boss. Someone had complained to her that they overheard me describe a particularly chaotic software release as a clusterfuck. She said she really couldn't care less but had wanted to make me aware of it. From that point on I always referred to such catastrophes as a Charlie Foxtrot instead.
