So I sent my DH of a very long time a naughty pic for the first time earlier and his response was.....
"I hope you only sent that to me!"
Why would he say that!
That's weird right??

He was probably just shocked since you never did before and are married a long time. I have never done that and have been married 20 years, I could expect that exact reaction from my dh or “did you really send this to me?!”

Maybe he was a bit shocked and didn’t know what to say, you did say it was your first time doing it.

He knew what the deal was before it was sent... it was planned

He probably meant he hoped you didnt do a "reply to all" type mistake. Not that weird, it's the kind of thing i might say in a light hearted way, especially if my DH sent it to me out of the blue.
(Tbf if I got a picture like that from my husband I'd ask what the fuck he was playing at but that's just me!)

That's fine, there was no reaction to him directly.... just the words in my head after that's all and a touch of overthinking.

To me, he's saying it's rather saucy and he hopes you only sent it to him. Nothing negative in that imo. It obviously did the trick.

I'd have replied..."Yes, just you. And the husband"

and then followed up with an "ooops!"

OP, honestly, it sounds like he didn’t really know how to react. If it’s your first time doing something like that he probably just felt a bit awkward. That’s not to say it wasn’t a great photo, he just may have not known quite how to respond. Not everyone is adept at dirty text chat!
